NIL — Name, Image, and Likeness — refers to the rights athletes hold over their own identity. Since the NCAA landmark rule change in July 2021, college athletes can now monetize these rights through endorsement deals, social media sponsorships, autograph signings, merchandise, and more.
For the first time, college athletes can be compensated for the brand equity they've built through years of competition and public visibility. The market has grown from zero to billions of dollars in just a few years — and it's still in early innings.
Hyche International Management Sports Group was ahead of this shift. Our founder advocated for athlete rights before the rule change, and we've been executing compliant, high-value NIL deals since day one.

COMMON QUESTIONS
NIL stands for Name, Image, and Likeness. Since July 2021, the NCAA allows college athletes to earn compensation from their NIL — through endorsements, autographs, social media, and more. Any current college athlete at an NCAA institution is eligible, provided deals comply with their school's policies.
You don't need an agent, but having professional representation dramatically increases both the quality and value of the deals you can access. We handle outreach, negotiation, contract review, and compliance — freeing you to focus on your sport.
No. NCAA rules explicitly prohibit schools from reducing or revoking athletic scholarships because an athlete has pursued NIL activities. However, individual school policies vary, which is why our compliance review is part of every deal we structure.
We maintain active relationships with brands across consumer goods, apparel, technology, food and beverage, and financial services. We also run proactive outreach campaigns targeting brands whose audience demographics match each athlete we represent.
We represent athletes across basketball, football, soccer, track and field, swimming, and emerging sports. If you're a high-performing athlete building a brand, we want to talk regardless of sport.
Deal sizes vary widely based on an athlete's sport, social following, school market, and brand alignment. Our roster includes deals ranging from $5,000 to six-figure annual agreements. We'll give you an honest assessment of your market value on our first call.
